KristallTurm is the first Bavarian craft company to win first place at the award ceremony of the German Foreign Trade Prize in 2018 last week.
Last Thursday, the German Foreign Trade Day 2018 took place in Bremen. As part of the event, the prize of the German Foreign Trade was awarded by Hans Peter Wollseifer, president of the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH). KristallTurm has won first place, making it the first Bavarian craft company to receive the award.
Since 1999, the Prize of the German Foreign Trade has been awarded to companies that demonstrate outstanding entrepreneurial commitment, that use promotional instruments from foreign trade in a particularly innovative way, or that attract attention through their sustained economic success. The three award winners were selected by the jury members of the Federation of German Export Trade, German Federation of Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services, German Confederation of Skilled Crafts, Federation of German Industry, German Industry and Trade Federation and German Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bremen – IHK for Bremen and Bremerhaven. The jury was impressed by the product and its implementation as well as by the market development strategies of the company. Owner Heinz Tretter and his team are especially pleased about this tribute and the honoring of their work.
The festive event in the presence of Bremen’s mayor and President of the Senate, Dr. Ing. Carsten Sieling, and the President of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce – IHK for Bremen and Bremerhaven, Harald Emigholz was a successful event, which was rounded off by the speech of journalist and blogger Sascha Lobo on the subject of digitization and regulatory policy.
